Renter's Insurance: Most people think that the
insurance that the apartment complex carries covers tenant property. It does not. If there is a fire or if a pipe breaks and ruins tenant property, or if someone breaks in
and steals tenant property, it is not covered by apartment insurance. It is good idea to
have renter's insurance which is usually pretty affordable.
Some people don't think they have anything of value, but if you add up your clothes and other items, it could be a lot.
